Overall the college is good as the fees structure here is very less as compared to other college and also the college is surrounded by some real natural beauties.
Entrance Preview
IIT JEE , the college is in my state and near by my house. It is also a government college and i want to have mechanical as my subject.
Course Curriculum Overview
8 semester of mechanical engineering . The course includes various subjects like thermodynamics , fluid mechanics, strength of materials, machine design , manufacturing science, material science.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that are used to come to our college but recently only one or two company visit here . There is a selection procedure which includes written aptitude test and other interviews for the final selection in the company.
Placement Experience
Placement record is not good as compared to other colleges but students are places outside the campus . Many students opt for post graduation in the college and get the teachet job here .
College Events
Events are celebrated regularly within a year all kinds of events are celebrated like sports , cultural , technical etc . Various guest lectures are also held within the college specially for mechanical department , college also arranged for workshops .
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure here is not very costly for a while year the student have to pay about 35 thousands which can be deposited in the bank in the campus . The money can also be given through cheque.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college gives various scholarship depending upon the marks , the family income or the caste . One hand to file the form and submit it to the office where further processing are done and once all is done the student gets the money.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is about 60:40 on higher side for boys. The life in the campus here is good as there is the natural beauty ask around the college with the himalayan mountains on one side and a river on other.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are good but the hostels are very old and the hygiene is not good. Internet facility is not available in most of the hostels bus the electricity is almost always available.
Alumni/Alumna
I don't know about the alumni network but there are very few senior students who come here after their course is over. College also does not organize such event.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is good the passing marks is 40 out of hundred. The college is autonomous so the paper are checked within the campus , the exam include the complete syllabus as per the uttarakhand technical university.
Faculty
The faculty in my college is below par , some teachers are good but many are just wasting their time and ours. There is a shortage of teachers in our college but the management doesn't look into this matter. There is no specialist teacher for any subject
