Course Curriculum Overview

The course is 5-6 subjects each semester and the faculty members are strict as well. We have different classes every day in theory as well as practical sessions. Our labs are well-furnished and technically equipped. Each lab is assigned a lab instructor and the subject teacher.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are decent in my college. Companies like Google, Facebook, and Microsoft hire students. Companies like Capgemini, Morgan Stanley, intuit, TCS and Infosys also hire students from here. 70-80% of students get placed in well-known companies. After getting the degree my plan is to get a job in well-reputed company

Fees and Financial Aid

Despite having COVID the fees were the same as they were before COVID, 25% scholarship is given to the students living in Himachal residence of Uttarakhand, girls also get a scholarship cut off and a stipend is provided to other sc, st classes. The fee structure is well made where bus fees are compulsory whether the student comes by bus or not.

Campus Life

Life at GEHU is amazing there are lots of fests every month, tech, non-tech, cultural, annual fests, and much more. Ted X has also hosted in GEHU many times. Classrooms and Lecture theatres are well equipped with ACs and there are clubs also in the college.

Admission

The admission process was pretty smooth and they didn't take any entrance exam, just asked which course I want to opt for and they gave me that course. Cut off was 80% Reservation was for obc, sc, and St classes but nothing was availed to me because I am in General class. Within 1 day I was admitted to the university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.
