Remarks
The admission process is so smooth. The admission is completely based on JEE mains rank. There are reservations for OBC, SC, ST, PWD, and Female only quotas. JEE mains usually happen in January and April. After cleaning the exam you have to go through the JOSAA counseling process. In this counseling process if you are allotted to this college then after that admission form applications are taken online from College website and after that, you have to come for document verification in the institution.
Course Curriculum Overview
My rank in JEE mains is the main reason I opted for this course. The faculty: student is equal to 2:20. All the faculties are well qualified and experienced as most of them did their Ph.D. from very well-known institutions like IITs. Some of the faculties were very helpful and their teaching methodology is marvelous. There are 2 exams (mid-term and end-term) in a semester and 2 or 3 class tests/surprise tests are also conducted. The exams are not that much tough if you are studied throughout the semester.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities in core and non-core jobs. Maxm internships are available in core jobs. This year almost all the third-year students got internships in various MNCs and small companies also.
Placement Experience
The placement percentage was approximately 130% in the CSE department, 100% in the ECE department, 95% in the Electrical department, 92% in the Mechanical department, and 70% in the civil department. The highest package in the ECE department was 1.8 cr per annum last year. The highest package of this year in the CSE department is 73 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
Although I got no scholarship as my income is more than 5 LPA. But there are scholarships available in the reduction of tuition fees. If your income is less than 1 lakh or you are from SC, ST, or PWD category then you will not be charged any tuition fee. If your income is between 1lakh and 5 lahks then you will be charged one-third of the complete tuition fee. If your income is more than 5 lakh then you will not get any tuition fee.
Campus Life
The name of the cultural fest in my college is CORONA and the name of the tech fest name is Melange. The library consists of 1lakh + books and generals and also has a very well maintained reading room. Approx all the classrooms have a smart board for ppt presentations. There are approx all the sports available on campus. There is a ground and a playground, three badminton courts. Although the campus size is very small but approximately all the facilities are provided.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are average. I live in 3 seater room. The room consists of 3 beds, 3 table, and 3 chair, and 3 almirah. The mess food quality is average. The taste of the food is acceptable. The mess menu consists of idli, paratha, chhole bhature, bread jam, rice, dal, potato bhujiya, paneer, mashroom, gofta, rasgulla, gulabjamun, chicken, fish on certain specified dates
