Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is average with a good knowledge of subjects. girls and boys are present in a fixed ratio as it's decided by the government around 30:70. faculty and teaching methods are average. mid-term and end-term exams are conducted each semester and it's not much difficult to score here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are decided by the government and it's around 70000 per semester for general category students and the mess cost with the hostel is around 25000 per semester. various scholarship is available for sc/st, obc and ews students, student loan is also available.
Campus Life
Tech fest(aayam) and cultural fest (moksha) are organised. all books related to the gate syllabus are available and it's easy to get books here. the classroom consists of projectors but the furniture is below average. Nit agartala has largest indoor stadium, and 2 football ground are available which are also used for cricket.
Admission
Students should have secured 75 per cent in 12. You have to give jee mains exam to get into nit agartala, its application form is available on nta.nic.in. The exam is conducted from January-April. Reservation based on basics of the cast are given (st /sc, obc and ews).
