Course Curriculum Overview
Economics Honors is a tough course and includes high-level mathematics, especially after the implementation of NEP, it is really hard to keep up with the course and other college activities. There is a single section of over a hundred students for all 3 years. Faculty is one of the best on campus
Internships Opportunities
The placement cell gets a plethora of internship opportunities for different roles in social impact, business development, research, marketing, human resource, finance, and audit internships for students. Companies and giants visit campus for various internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
There is an active placement committee that includes the placement cell and Ramjas Consulting Society, both of which have accolades to their names. There are various companies that visit campus including Deloitte, KPMG, HCL, DE Shaw, etc. The average package is around 6.5 LPA. The highest package is 21.5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is extremely pocket friendly considering it is a state university. There are arrangements for EWS Sections. There is no fee hike in my knowledge over the past few years and with the amenities provided, it is a win-win situation.
Campus Life
It is a normal North Campus college with a lush green environment. The campus is beautiful with a huge playground and other amenities. Campus lacks certain amenities such as wifi, air conditioners, etc. The societies are very rigorous and have a profound legacy like the Shunya-Drama society. An aesthetic library with hardcover books is a major attraction point. There is no annual fest but all societies including departmental societies host their own fests. Generally, they take place in the month of February-march. College is the most beautiful during these months and one should not miss it.
Admission
For the batch of Grade XII which passed out in 2022, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) was announced for admission to many state universities including Delhi University. I appeared for an entrance test with subjects the same as my Grade XII (Objective) with a maximum of marks 200 and a General Aptitude Test (GAT) for a total of 300 marks. Conducted in 5 phases over a span of 2 months nearly 15 lac students appeared for CUET.
