Course Curriculum Overview
My first choice was CSE but my rank is talented. Teaching me was not sufficient to get CSE so I chose ECE so that its placements are good for this branch. And my interest was in its side so I choose the ECE branch. Student ratio 8:2 boys: girls. And the faculty is good and those are good and sometimes uses projector which is useful and labs facilities also good. And exams are a bit difficult but if we study hard for 10 days we can pass easily.
Internships Opportunities
Atlassian, Goldman Sachs, Media net, Ninjacart, Hls, Optum, Digit And they took the internet and interviews to select or shortlist the students and many students didn't get these internships only 20% of students got them.
Placement Experience
Placements at our college are quite good compared to others from 7th-semester students who are eligible to sit in placements. The companies were Amazon, Goldman Sachs, BHEL, Atlassian, Accenture Tata, Adobe, Samsung, HLC, Mastercard, and Optum. and 514 offers were made. The highest package was 44 lakhs from amazon. and the average package of the ECE branch was 14 lakh per annum. In the ECE branch the percentage of people getting placed is 90% and in the CSE branch last year it is 100%. My plans are to get placed in a good company with a nice package and many people choose to go to higher studies or for UPSC.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for general candidates are too high but for students with reservations the academic fee was zero and the hostel fee was 45000 and there would be a mess and admission fees. An NSP scholarship is provided annually for 4 years.
Campus Life
Technosis is the tech fest and incandescence is a cultural fest. Classrooms are well-designed and projectors are available for each classroom. And the library is Asia's second-largest library many books and journals are available. And there's a cricket ground football ground and sports complex that have wooden badminton courts and table tennis tables. And many clubs dance clubs, music club machine learning clubs and chess clubs and cricket clubs, kabaddi and Kho-Kho club, and dramatics club like this many clubs are there.
Hostel Facilities
I am living in hostel . We were given a room for 2 people there's a table, bed and wardrobe with shelves and a fan , tubelight and chair for each student . And there's wifi lan for each student. Menu quality is good but the quality of meal is not soo good it was okay but Sundays meal was too good. Registration process for hostel is simple and nearly affordable and fees is 45000 per year. Locality is okish more people try to get more money from us but we need to be careful
Admission
For admission in this nit Silchar, I have to clear JEE mains and I cleared it and the CRL rank including reservation was eligible to get into this NIT. The admission process was smooth. And we need to pay 15000 to jossa to apply for counseling and we need to set the preference order according to our choice there will be six rounds we can be able to change our preferences one time. And we need to fix a college that comes to us in counseling and then we get admitted.
