Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it gives you freedom to choose what to do next as many student in my year were preparing for various fields such as CA, CAT, SSC, CFA etc. Faculty is very cooperative and understanding (most of them ofcourse). The term exams were very close to each other but if you are regular in your studies it won't be difficult to get good marks. And those of us who prepare last minute can score well too.

Internships Opportunities

DE Shaw, Wipro, Ecommerce Guru are offering placements and workshops to students. There are not many paid internships for 1st and 2nd year students. There are alot of good workshops and for paid internships the student has to do her own research.

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell and there are internships for 1st and 2nd year and placements for 3rd yrs. But you have to approach the celll for these opportunities. My plan after degree is to pursue MBA so I am looking forward to placement as it will give me much needed work experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very reasonable. Like it is 19000 approximately for a year and that is about 60000 Max for three yrs. I did not apply for scholarship but as I said earlier the faculty is cooperative so you can ask your teachers for such guidance.

Campus Life

Okay so everyone is very interactive and there are clubs, societies and fests but if you are not actively participating then you will find campus life rather dull. Library has books available for the semesters and can be used for studying in your free time. Classrooms are alright (not too much to look forward to) Sports ground isn't that appealing.

Admission

It was a very easy process compared to previous years as at the time of my admission the process was online and that made it convenient. Eligibility was cut off basis(92.5% for best 4).The fees was very reasonable too as it comes under government.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

MSCW is Magical!

CUET is a top level entrance and DU too a top level university and most colleges under it are among the top. I also wanted the best women's college of DU and that is LSR but with a score of 430 out of 800, only a few colleges were available and Mata Sundari was one of those. Honest MSCW review

Honestly I wasn't sure about taking admission into this college infact i never intended to...
