Course Curriculum Overview
MY course in civil engineering, the faculty-student ratio is quite low as faculty are barely sufficient to full fill all the posts for the different courses no extra faculty are there at the college campus. Qualification of faculty are PhD holders and are good at teaching they have the ability to make every concept understandable to every student. the exam duration is in every 2 months there is an exam mid sem and at end, sem and the difficulty is if we attend class attentively and by a little effort we can score good marks so it is not that hard.
Internships Opportunities
For internships, we have to connect to companies and those companies cam are mostly for the tech field not for core branchs as for tech abobe came and many students get selected on the fund of 50000 per month.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is quite good here, Form 7 sem you can be eligible for the campus placement different company visite campus for their recruitment. for the civil L&T visited 12 LPA and other company visited. If I talk about this year's placement of the 2023 batch so 100% placement for civil and of 14 LPA highest to 8 LPA average.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee in the college is totally based on the Categorie and it is the best opportunity to study at an affordable fee an institute like the national institute of technology Mizoram. the fee is catogree-wise distributed as if I attach some data for gen agree and family income is above 5 lahks then the fee for 6 sem is 67300/- for the student family income between 1-5 lakh per year the feel is 25683/- for 6 sem and for the student having family income less the 1 lakh per annum then it will be 4850/- all benefits will be avoided as per the income certificate issue by min tehsildar or collector of there district. scholarship is provided by the govt by registering them on nptl portal and applicable students can get the scholarship as per the govt norms.
Campus Life
As the campus is still temporary in the main city Aizwal bt the campus is quite beautiful and greenish all around even the entire aizwal is full of greenness. annual fest is khus Aamdeed, The library is quite good I say it provides every needed book by different author and journals are also there and daily newspaper in a different language. classrooms are good enough as per the temporary campus classroom are fully furnished and attached with smart technology sports facility is also good and every sem there is a sports fest organized for inter and intra nit. some LinkedIn and social media societies are there which are been operated by students to give the perspective of their branch and different opportunity and competitions.
Admission
The course that I took was JEE MAINS. The eligibility for this course is min 12 pass and min grade of 75% at my time but not been changed to 65%. The form is available on the internet it occurs the duration of Sept - Nov. The application fee varies according to the agreement as obc gen is almost 700 and for sc-st and girls it is 500 reservation benefit is according to the rank the particular rank is available for the different candidates and the cutoff release according to the candidate is got selected.
