Overall college is very very good. We love the environment. The college culture and guidance landed us where we are today It is a nice college to be in. AIEEE.It is a standard for the national level exam for all engineering colleges. All good colleges are affiliated from this. Amazing experience the location is so good to feel yourself stress-free. Just the perfect place to live most important period of your life.

But on the other hand some teachers are there just for their job.. Hostel life is a must Beautiful mesmerizing scenery just adds to it's beauty. Newly built 'Vedanta' building is the pride of Dit. Now talking about placements... Placement is good according to this private college. Top companies like Hike , Adobe,Ho,Amazon,Tech Mahindra arrive at the campus seeking freshers for their company with packages going as high as 9.24lac. On and all Dit is an excellent college packed with studies,scerenic beauty, placements and fun...️

The course curriculum is really useful. It gives you full detailed knowledge about the computer sciences, that include various programming languages and various technologies like operating systems, computer architecture and design. You also get to visit the industries as included in the course curriculum. The classrooms and the labs are all under surveillance, and give you safe and nice environment for studies. Food corners are available at every corner of the campus, which contain sumptuous food. Hostel rooms are clean and nice and cleaned on a regular period and any hostel related issues are solved immediately.

In computer science branch, almost all of the students get placed. The average package was 4.5 LPA and highest was 10 LPA in 2015 but it rose sharply and now the highest package is 24-25 LPA in 2017. Hundreds of companies visit every year, The regular companies include Wipro, infosys, HCL. Others include Axis Bank, HP, Adobe, IBM, Josh, Amazon etc and the companies provide all sort of roles like programmer, database artist, quality assurance etc. Placements are the best for CSE branch with some big names like adobe, hike, HP and Amazon hiring from the campus. The highest package touches 10 LPA and the average is around 4 lakhs. For other branches, the placement is average with mechanical still getting good companies like Ashok Leyland but for rest, it's not much good.

College celebrates all the festivals with perfect celebration, sphurti is conducted every year in which various sports event takes place and technical competetions takes place every months, fest is conducted every year in which celebrities comez and dj night is conducted in every farewell and freshers party, the college tour is also good which is for 15-20 days they take students to goid places like Goa, manali, chandigarh, mumbai and ahmedabad.

The fees are quite reasonable as compared to any other private college and it comes out to be around a total of 7 lakh for the whole course.i,e, four years duration the courses that are in collaboration with IBM are little bit expensive and amount to around 9 lakh for the whole course. Yes scholarship is provided if one has a good rank in JEE Mains and good percentage in 12th students who have scored more than 90% in 12th are eligible for availing scholarship and those having ranks less than 40000 in JEE Mains besides this loan facilities are also available if one cannot afford the fees.

Scholarship for poor was there but I didn't avail any scholarship scheme was available but I don't have much information on the same as I have not availed the same.

Campus life is good and DIT benig situated in lap of queen of hills Mussoorie given a immense and mesmerizing feeling the climate here is very nice talking about the gender ratio there is around 60:40 boys is to girls ratio. In first year more emphasis is given on studies so as to make basics clear and strong and from second year there are events like DJ nights,trips etc.

Sorry I won't be able to tell you that as I am a day scholar but I have visited hostel few times and the rooms are quite well designed I was once very late because of badminton trials so I was asked to have dinner in the mess and it was fine proper cleanliness was maintained and food was being served in proper way. We have alumni groups in facebook as well as regular alumni meets as well.We are helped by our seniors and same goes for our juniors as well.We are a network now as well and well connected to each other.

Exams are conducted in a very good manner, labs have all the latest equipment and technicians all the necessary things are provided for student to feel comfortable during the examination. All the labs, classroom, and the library are well-maintained. The civil department is excellent in terms of infrastructure. The college provides medical facilities from Max super specialty hospital for students. Wi-Fi is there on every floor of each and every department. The quality of labs and classroom is very good. Two board in the classroom(one white board and one green board). The quality of food is good but not too good. The hostel rooms are excellent. Sarabhai is the best and the only one hostel which has well-furnished rooms with a lift for easy reach into each and every floor. I did not face any infrastructure related issues till date.

DIT University, earlier known as Dehradun Institute of Technology, offers degree, diploma and PhD programmes in Engineering and Technology at Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) levels.
