Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because thought ctty hard to choose a low branch in top IITs that may benefit you in the future, and chemical science and technology was the only branch I could clearly cut off. As IIT JEE is one of the toughest exams in the world it's peer you to know.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like microsoft do visit our institute avg package is 22LPA.snd almost every student gets placed excluding those who opt for higher studies. MTech placements are also above average. Overall placements in IITG is very good.
Placement Experience
From 3rd semester itself, you become eligible for placements. %age of students getting placed in my branch is always above 88%. The cpi does matter for placements. Try to keep it as high as possible. All the best.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study is decent as it is a government college unlike BITS, and VIT. Internship opportunities are not as expected but yeah sure you can apply off-campus for internships as you will get exposure being an IITIAN.
Campus Life
There are many clubs from techs to cultural to sports to startups. You get lage diversified opportunities. You haven't got into one till now but want to right, no prior knowledge related for. But ya iit is best
Hostel Facilities
Hostels were made only for single occupancy but yah you need to adjust. Iitg hostels were made for single occupany but due to earthquake the disang hostel in unfunctional so we were double occupancy rooms
Admission
The opening rank was around 862 for ST category students for my branch. In that year IITJEE was hard and it was conducted by IIT Bombay so the cut-off came down very low for every category. The application form for the exam can be found on the official site of IITJEE.
Interview Experience
So everybody wants to grab the dream package so everyone aims at coding, you know like it's the only thing you want to do for placement-related things. You will have coding rounds and many more. You have to improve your communication skills.
