Course Curriculum Overview

I personally love computers and software things that is why I choose B.Tech in CSE. The faculty is good and helpful and provides notes. Many sports happen in collage-like MSL MCL MBL MVL etc. All teachers are mainly from IITs and NIT.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

After 3rd year we are eligible for the placement allocations provided by the university. Companies like Tata, Cisco, Wipro, Oracle, Infosys, and many more. From the entire CSE branch, last year's highest placement was around 13 lac and avg was around 7 lac. Average package 6LPA. The highest package is 34LPA(off-campus) & 14LPA (on-campus).

Fees and Financial Aid

Makaut Scholarship, General Scholarship, Jindal Scholarship, SBSM Scholarship, Nabanna Scholarship. Know much about the fee Hike policy but my total cost of the study is around 11 lacs for a 4-year B.Tech program.

The most popular fest in our college is pariddhi From mechatronic. The Fest is Conducted in April or march month every year. The College is well provided with the library and digital library from IIT Kharagpur many sports happen in college like MSL MCL MBL MVL etc.

Admission

80% Through WBJEE and 15% from JEE MAINS and rest management. Eligibility of the course -- 60% in PCM in 12th board (state/CBSE/ICSE/NIOS) Reservation for SC/ST/OBC available. University provides 35-45% loans for courses for meritorious students. Average package 6LPA. highest package 34LPA(off-campus) & 14LPA (on campus).

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
