Likes

I liked the lab facilities, canteen food, teachers in my 3rd semester especially.
I like the mini project idea which we have to submit every semester.
Competitive and friendly environment which helps me to grow more.

Dislikes

There is no badminton court open to all.
Timings are from 8-6 sometimes which makes our day hectic.
Fest is not too big as compared to other colleges.

As the scope of CSE in the future is too much and there is a wide variety of domains in which I can explore, so I choose this course. The ratio of teachers to students is fine. In one year, there is 2 semester and in each semester there is a mid and end-term exam.

Internships Opportunities

There is a separate group for each batch in which they circulate internship opportunities which includes companies like adobe, Goldman Sach, Morgan Stanley, etc. Projects ideas include topics of ML, Blockchain, Web, etc.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible from 4th year for placements before that, they can go for internship opportunities. Our college has a high percentage of getting placed. The highest package till now I heard is 52 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite high compared to other colleges but they provide scholarships based on your 12th percentile. There is an inclination in the fee every year. For financial assistance, one can go for an education loan also.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good. There are so many clubs which you can join like dance-related, music-related, debate-related, etc. There are two libraries, a canteen, sports area in our college. For NCC, there is a separate group.

Admission

Eligibility criteria are based on your 12th percentage, it must be greater than 70%. All the details are available on their website as well as you can directly go there. I am not aware of this. No, everything is fine.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.
