Good faculty and experienced staff members
Coding culture is very good. Everyone is evolved in competitive coding.
Computer labs provide good internet connection and resources.

Lack of various sports resources like badminton court and lawn tennis court
Time table is a bit hectic and you need 75% attendance.

The course curriculum and faculty members are very knowledgeable and some even have PhD in their respective fields. They promote research papers and have good teaching skills. Also, their knowledge is practical

Companies like Adobe etc comes around in the end of 2nd year for Customer experience role. Other opportunities available are informed to us by placement cell as soon as its available. Also, preparation for internships is also provided.

Placement Experience

The placements scenario is average. Some good companies do come but take only a certain number of students. Companies like Wipro, Informatica, terabyte, and Amazon comes every year. The average package is around 7LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are increased every year. Without a scholarship, it's up to 1.5 lakhs per semester. But with a good academic profile, you can avail decent scholarship which may depend on your class 12th score and JEE score.

Campus Life

Various Clubs and societies are available for different extracurricular activities like dance, music, acting, etc. Some technical clubs are also available which frequently organise coding and technical events.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth. The 12th percentage and JEE score were taken into account. Also, an online video introduction was taken at the time of online admission. The admission process can also be done in offline mode at btech block

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I always wanted to pursue engineering, so after 12th I wanted to join B. Tech as my course. Then I started to search for the best universities for the course I wanted to pursue, then I came to know about Graphic Era deemed to be University. I started to check the placement records and that were quiet impressive, the faculties and course curriculum was also the way I wanted and the way i wanted to learn. The admission process includes you should have your 12th aggregate above 60%.
