Remarks

Overall the college is good and above average and is one of the good colleges in the pune. Only the problem is with some of the teachers may not be very co operative and the quality if teaching is just average. But when it comes to attendance the college is very chill.

Entrance Preview

I took IIT JEE exam and scored 80 marks in it and I opted for this college because it was the best college I could have got on merit.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is average. Teaching in the college is just average and their is not much for the research. I took elective subject as pervasive computing and advanced computer programming and their is not much for the research. Other than that the college faculty tries to complete the given syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

They provided us with an internship in the company innovates. The company was not very much good and they even didn't gave any stipend. The internship was of 2 months and the company forcefully increased the span for one more month and gave extra projects without any credit ability.

Placement Experience

3

Placements and job opportunities are above average. Many companies like Bosh, 3dplm, LTI, etc came with the job opportunities. They all came with packages in between 3 to 7 lakhs per annum. Some 50 % students are currently placed in the 1st half academic year.

College Events

2.5

College is very good when we come to the events part. There are various events conducted throughout the year by different departments. Each department conducts their own technical and cultural events every year with very attractive prizes and very low entry fee. Even the college gathering period has very nice cultural programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When compared to other colleges in pune, the fee structure is very much feasible. The fees is 91 thousand INR. While the other colleges have fees of more than a lakh. Out off 91 thousand 81.5 thousand is the Tuition fee and the rest amount is the college campus fee, insurance, deposit.

Fees and Financial Aid

No the college doesn't provide any such scholarships or loan. Though University provided scholarships can be availed here. There are scholarships based on reservations and that can be availed by the underprivileged students. Also the students with family income less than 4.5 lakhs per annum can get 50% fees back through the EBC program.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is not that good. The male: female ratio is 10:7. There are maximum students involved in ABVP student's party. There are mostly pure Brahmans in the college with most of the students from above average economical background. Some technical workshops are conducted in between the year.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facility in the college is only for the boys with a limit of 200 students Which is just not very good. The PG's are available nearby with very affordable rates nearly 3-4 thousand per month. The rooms in the hostel are three seater and are not in very good condition. The college mess gives average quality of food but their are many mess around the college which provide good food.

Alumni/Alumna

College alumni network is quite widely spread and the alumni are helpful and give nice suggestions for the growth of the college and students welfare. Even the seniors in the college are very helpful and they help whenever some junior have any problem whether it may be some study related problem or even any other problems.

Exam Structure

The exams and labs were not very frequent and didn't give us a hectic schedule. It was quite a lot chilled out. They just followed the schedule given by the Savitribai Phule pune University and didn't conduct any extra exams or labs. So the overall environment was very chill when it came to the exams and labs

Admission

When the date notified me I'm eligible to take admission in this particular college, next day itself I went to the college and filled their form their itself. The bank was in the college campus so the fees payment was not a problem and then I submitted all the required documents along with form and then confirmed the admission.Even the Administration was cooperative.

Faculty

3

Faculty in the college are very much qualified with most of them have completed their M.tech but the teaching is just average and they don't show much interest in teaching new things or something out of syllabus. They are just in a rush to complete their syllabus and that's it.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
