Likes

My branch is CSE so i want a lab and a good faculty which are available in our college so we are happy.
Many Clubs are available mainly Coding club is very good.
Faculty is very humble which is very important for study.

Dislikes

The ground is not good because in rainy season water are frozen in ground.
The labs are not good for other branches except CSE.
Overall college is good for average type student which is not afford in private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am interested in this course. Overall faculties are very good. The qualification of the faculties is many of the faculty in our colleges are completed M.Tech. and then teach us and many of the faculties also come by BPSC exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

Basically on campus is coming for 3rd or 4th year students. Some company gives priority to the 4th year students. The highest package is 12 LPA offered by Cisco in our college and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. The percentage of placing students is poor but all right.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of college are normal and affordable for all students. The fee of the college is around 10000 per year and if you come from OBC, SC, or ST category you can get a scholarship of 5000-15000. So the college fee is normal. Mainly the cost of living is high because the hostel charge is 7800 per semester and mess charges are excluded. One more thing if you have no money then don't worry you can apply for Bihar Student Credit Card Loan.

Campus Life

There are many fests organized in our college. That one, the name is UDAAN which is conducted in the month of September. In the Library many books are available. There are many clubs present in our college like the Sports Club, Coding Club, Cultural clubs, etc. but mainly the Sports club are actively organizing matches in every month which is college level.

Admission

I currently pursuing B.Tech. in computer science and engineering from SIT Sitamarhi which is under the Bihar government. Previously Bihar government.SIT Sitamarhi is a government college run by Bihar Government. The earlier Bihar government did not have its own university, so all government colleges in Bihar were managed by AKU (Aryabhatta Knowledge University). But on March 15, 2023, the Bihar government established its own university BEU(Bihar Engineering University). Now all the engineering colleges in Bihar have moved to BEU. For admission to BEU, you have to appear JEE Mains exam or an exam conducted by the BCECE board.

Placements at NIT Patna Are good for cs e The students become eligible from 7th semester Average place fields is around 13 to 14 lpa Eld highest goes to 40 Around 85 to 95 Percent students get placed I plan to become a software developer after graduation

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat and apply for campus placements . Eligiblity criteria depends on companies but if you have 7 CGPA ir more than that then you don't need to worry . Companies like Godrej, ACC,CDAC, BHEL, Infosys, WIPRO ,TCS etc. visited our college for campus placements. Highest package from our college is around 13 Lakh Per Annum and average placement is 3 to 4 Lakh Per Annum Its totally depends upon companies and their job profiles. There are almost 60 to 70 percentage student got placement ( In upper branches like CSE& AI percentage is slightly high otherwise it is quite low for civil and our branches) My plans after getting a degree that is I have to go for M.Tech from any IITs of India I am preparing hard for that.

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Genuine Review of Motihari Engineering College

Placement Experience:

From 6th semster you are eligible to sit in campus placement . There is companies like Infosys , TCS , De Walls Ads , Wipro, Congnizent, ACC visited our college for campus placements . They have limited offers with limited packages also they have some eligiblity criterias like students should have CGPA above than 7.5 . Highest package offered in our college is 13 LPA per annum by TCS for a CSE student and Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum. There is highest placements in branches like CSE ,EEE andCIVIL. Other branches got less offeres. Totally 50 to 60 percentage students got placements from our college because majority lower branch students are preparing for government exams like SSC , UPSC, BPSC , DAROGA and GATE. My plans after getting the degree to go for highes studies (M.TECH) .

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of Views

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is companies like Wipro , Infosys, ACC, Copegimini, Congnizent, TCS visited our college for campus placements. There is very less number of offers given by companies and also there is almost negligible offers for Lower branches(like Mechanical and Civil) . There is highest 12.4 lakh per annum for a CSE student given by TCS and average salary of 4 LPA . There is only 50 to 60 percent students got placements in which majority are from CSE , CSE-AI , and EEE branches. My plans after getting the degree is doing M.tech from any reputed Colleges of India like some NITs or IITs depending to my Gate Score.

From 7 semester student become eligible for campus placements.there are many company visited like wipro, tata etc. Here highest packege is 9 lakh per annum. Here placement rate is 70%.Explore diverse options after B. tech, including software development, data science, and cybersecurity in private and government sectors. You can consider advanced degrees like MTech, MBA in IT, or PhD if you are wondering what to do after a BTech.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students become eligible for cmpus placements . Thera are a few companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Cisco ,Figma ,ACC and so on visited our college for campus placement but limited offers . Percentage of placements is arround 60 % which is very low but students are trying there best . Higher package was 12.4 LPA by Infosys as SDE and avrage package of 4 LPA. My plans are not taking plaement , I am preparing for gate 2027 .

Placement Experience:

The placement is not so good but if you work hard about study then you will be selected for campus placement. Many companies visit here. 40 percentage students approx get placement. I have to clear competitive exams after it.

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

Hey I have filled the counselling if ugeac and it's consist of 38 colleges among them it is one of top 10 colleges in the list that's why I have chosen this college Actually I get rejected from nit and iit as I have secured 86 percentile only and unable to get any seat in jossa /csab.
