Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because this course is easy to score good marks and get good placement in top recruiting companies and the course taught me a lot of things. Our course-student ratio is 25:1, every 25 students have 1 teacher so the teachers give their full attention. The teachers are very good, helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have good experience of teaching and also they are experts in their subjects. They motivate all the students that students do better than earlier. They teach us in a very easy way. The exams were 2 turms in a year 1 semester and 2 semesters and were not much difficult to pass. We passed because our teachers already taught all the important topics.

Internships Opportunities

4

Many companies like wipro, reliance, Dalmia group, and amazon and roles as a marketing executive, store manager, and chat supporter offered. This course gives very reputable and not much high profile jobs but you never regret what did I choose.

Placement Experience

3.5

After 6 semesters we become eligible for campus placement and after 5 semesters many companies visit our college for offering a job. Top recruiting companies like KPMG Global, Ey GDS, Grant Thornton, NIIT, and BAJAJ Capital visited our college. The highest package was 360000, the average package was 260000 offered in our college. More than 70 per cent of students got placements in our course. After getting the degree I want to get an MNC job in Concentrix because this company have many branches in India and a lot of employees.

Fees and Financial Aid

SOL, Du is one the most affordable option to complete graduation with just around 20000- 30000. Old charges such as the University development fund have also been hiked from #600 to #900. The name of scholarships was the culture talent search scholarship and inlaks Shivdasani scholarship. The job we got on campus with stipends is chat supporter in mnc and store executive, store manager, and coordinator in event companies.

Campus Life

4.5

To be honest, I have attached fests of 5+ in our college. Fests names are Reverie, Tarang, and confluence. some of the students are better singers, players, actors, data analysts, managers, and consultants so our college gives them a change at every festival. There has a huge peaceful library in our college. There are a lot of books in the library and 5G super fast wifi also. The cleaning staff are very good they clean 2 times of classrooms. There are enough large classrooms, desks and classrooms are so airy in any season. There is a huge play ground with good green grass, there are many sports activities & many extracurricular activities on the campus. There are many clubs which help the students who are well in singing, dancing, playing etc. So these clubs help them and they participate in many festivals.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Our college room has many facilities like it is so airy, expensive fans, comfortable bench for sitting, clean and big black board and enough windows. To a great extent, our room is perfect. Meal quality is very good in our canteen. The canteen staff avoid junk food and provide us healthy food that is the least price. If someone wants to hostel registration so it is very easy first of all that person have to go to our teacher's room then they'll give us a form to fill and after that, we have to give it form to the hostel staff and affordable payment and hostel staff provide us g Hostel id card. When I first time I rented a room then so I thought about where I am but after 2 days I realised that it was enough good.

Admission

The admission process is very easy. 12th pass with above 50 per cent of marks is Eligibility for the course. The application form is on Delhi University (du) official website, we have to click search (du) on any browser and then click the du website. there are details that how to fill out the application form and the application dates when admission starts every detail there. Application fees are 44000 per year. To a large extent, there is nothing has changed but the admission process is very easy we have to go to cyber cafes because some campers work without cyber cafe admission is not possible if it will possible on any smartphones so admission will be an easy way without problems.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
