- Not many restaurant and food palces there are some outside the campus but not inside
- The groups recruit student who already have the knowledge of the subject but not the one who wants to learn.
- The high competition with the fellow could sometimes be tiring
Course Curriculum Overview
Some of the faculty are friendly while some are not that much. But all of them are highly qualified. I choose this course as it gave me the option to go in core as well we non-core and was best for my rank and college. The exams are a bit hard and you have to grind before the exams to get good grades. The faculty ratio is good.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Microsoft, uber, and Razorpay jaguar Come to the campus They offer jobs for quant, sde roles, and some companies for core jobs, data analyst and products analyst jobs are also there. They take there own exams and then an interview to hire.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are held in the 7th semester. Google, Amazon, Razorpay and Manu companies visit and more the 1000 offers were made. The highest package is more than 1 crore. The avg around 20lakh. I would do a job for a year or two then go for higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for a semester are around 1.3lakh and for 4 years around 10lakhs. There is financial assistance for students who are economically weak. Even the are scholarships for bright students. The campus jobs are very good with high placement percentages and packages.
Campus Life
The fest on the campus is one of the best in India. The campus library is huge with a wide range of books. The classroom ambience is good. Courts, and ground are nice for each sort and given priority. Groups like alumni cell, and outreach are run.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is nice. There is a change in the menu regularly. The quality of the food is fine, not that good. The hostel and food are highly affordable. No, you can't rent a pg you have to live in the campus hostel.
Admission
To get admission I had to give the JEE. For being able to get admission to IIT you have to qualify to give JEE advanced exam. For which you have to give jee mains. And secure a percentile of around 90 Or more. After that in jee advanced you have to get a good rank to get a stream in the selected IIT. The application form has to be filled out after the result, and the admissions process will be online or offline depending upon the college. The fees of jee mains advanced form are Rs. 2000. The cutoff for getting a btecg course in IIT Roorkee is around 10k.
