Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Electrical Engineering at IIT Roorkee. Electrical courses are very difficult to study and exams are set very tough by professors. Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.
Fees and Financial Aid
The IITS are autonomous institutes and are considered some of the prime institutes in India. The government of India lays a huge emphasis on these institutions of prime importance. The fee structure for my college is 1.2 to 1.5 lakhs per semester depending on the semester.
Campus Life
College is more than just courses. It's exploring new interests, joining a club, and finding your passion. It's advocating for your beliefs, raising awareness for a cause and growing into a leader. In my college, campus life is very nice. Enjoying it a lot.
Admission
A student who is willing to go IIT has to go through a two-stage process: The first stage is JEE main which is conducted by nta two times a year first in January and second in April. Approximately, 12 lakh candidates appeared for jee mains. The paper contains 75 questions comprising of 25 questions each of physics chemistry and Maths out of which 20 questions are single choice correct and 5 are integer type. The results of JEE main is declared in the form of percentile and after normalization of process between the two attempts, a rank is declared. OBC reservation ,helped me a lot in securing a good IIT and respectable branch.
