Course Curriculum Overview
I choose BTech because I passionately want to see the technology world. faculty students ratio here is not very good, as students want more comfort zone. The faculty here is very good, graduated from higher IITs, and did higher studies. mainly in IITs in 1 year there is 2 sem. means 2 end-term exams. trust me IITs have very high competition.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies come for internships in various roles such as product management, SDE, analysis, data science and core companies for all the branches. The stipend varies from 30k per month to 2lac per month
Placement Experience
Placement season is around December in our college. The average package is quite good. obviously because of IIT. around 90% of people placed here and the rest go for more or less higher studies. Microsoft, google, amazon etc many companies came here. my dream company is Microsoft
Fees and Financial Aid
In IITs fees is a very high, and opportunities here in IITs are very much. Internships and placements are there very much. many mentorship programs come in very much. IIT Roorkee gives encore as a scholarship.
Campus Life
campus life is best. thomso, cognizance, the nightlife is best, night canteens here in IITR, wholesome, night walks with friends. trust me this is the best college. clubs culture in IITR is very good, you explore different things through the club.
Hostel Facilities
In IITR, we have triple sharing in the girls' hostel. this is the worst thing I experienced here. the space issue is very common. hostel mess is quite good, we have 3 meals per day, breakfast, lunch dinner, and a special dinner once a week. in IITR, you cant reside outside the campus. The registration process is not that may long, it is easy, you have to fill in one form.
Admission
To come to IIT, you have to give a very famous entrance exam called jee(Joint Entrance Exam). Firstly you have to clear jee mains and then after qualifying you are eligible to give JEE Advance, and after successfully clearing jee advance, you will get into IIT. NTA has provided its application form for jee mains, and then at the official website of jee adv you have to fill out the form for jee advance.
