Course Curriculum Overview

I choose EE branch because I wanted to explore more in core section , the course is structured and we'll planned , we are provided teaching assistant for solving our tutorials doubts regularly, all the facilities are well experienced with 5-6 years of teaching experience atleast , exams are generally difficult to pass and we have mid terms and end terms here

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 2025 per year

Internships Opportunities

Google -PIO,full stack developers, Microsoft ,sprinkler, Adobe , gold man Sachs , Flipkart, Amazon , Qualcomm , Oracle , Infosys , bhel , Havells , Bajaj , Jindal steel and power etc , there are many projects like developing a stock price management systems , and some development related projects and even a research intern in core companies .

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements after 6 semesters , there are many companies like Google , Adobe, Microsoft , Goldman Sachs , sprinkler etc. There are many offers made although I donot have a particular number for that , highest- 2.5 cr , lowest -16 lakhs , 90 percentage placement, have a great work at my job and enjoy my life after placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure - 1,40,000 for one semester including mess food , hostel fees and teaching .Scholarship name - SCPC for the students who want to claim scholarships in the campus (sc,obc,st,general ews)

Annnual fest - Thomso event Technical fest - Cognizance , Social event- National social summit , there are many clubs for people of every interest , too many things to explore like ml,ai, cp, development, blockchain, dance, singing, social help group, uba, smp etc.

Admission

Admission process was quite formal and organised , i entered iit roorkee by securing 1885 AIR in jee advance and according to cuttoff I am alloted EE branch . Reservation benefits are provided by scpc scheme given to the students of IIT roorkee where they will be repaid some amount based upon the their reservation categories , although I am general still I wanted to share about this

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. IIT ROORKEE in a nut-shell

As we know IIT ROORKEE is one of the oldest engineering college in while asia and has a very good alumini connection and placement record so i chose it and it is also closer to my home. IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment.
