Remarks

See no place isperfect sometimes because of the old infra we feel bad but its not a major problem but the overall atmosphere and positivity is covering all the bad things.

I got the admission in the college on the 12th class merit basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good and very interesting too and the faculy is just awesome because the teachers are really very helpful and very serious about their profession.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies here provide internships and people really learns alot from hese.

Placement Experience

I have a friend in placement cell and from him i came too know this year they managed many students to get placed in many companies and the placement cell is very hardworking too.

College Events

SABRANG, is the main cultural fest of the college and its a very grand event as many popular stars from bollywood perform here and many students participates in the fest from all over delhi ncr. Another big fest is UDAAN its a street theatre competition organised by DESHBANDHU DRAMATICS SOCIETY, streettheatre.

There are many scholarships for different courses, sport people and foreign students.

Campus life is just awesome, as we all know life of a duite is just not studies but extra curriculars too. There are various societies and 2 of the best are deshbandhu dramatics society, streetplay and debating society.

Hostel Facilities

There are no hostel in the college as they are under construction, canteen food is very cheap and hygeinic and the overall fee is also very less and affordable by every section of the society.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Seniors are very helpful and are friendly too.

Its a very old college with very good teaching faculty and its come under Delhi University, which is India's no. 1 ranked university. I just love my course because i love to read out different countries and as i am a civil services aspirant it wil be help

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

Life in college so far

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good. The admission process revolves around first clearing the cuet(ug) exam and then applying to the delhi university, then there will be 2-3 rounds of Delhi university and you'll be alloted a college as per your preferences and score and cut offs...Read More
