Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my interest in coding and the growing need for computer science engineers. The faculties of the engineering department have done M.tech and Phd and other departments have also qualified up to phd. The exams happen two times. First, a mid-term happens and at the last of the semester, the end-term semester happens. It is based on the knowledge of the student whether he can pass the exam or not.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't gone to any internships yet. In the second year, we get the chance to apply for internships. In the first year, there is less number of making of projects and in the second year, the project-making happens.
Placement Experience
From the fourth semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visiting here are TCS, infosys, amazon, etc. The highest pakage was in the year 2022 at 84 lakhs and the average is around 8-9 lakhs. So it is overall good in terms of placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for B tech is approx 2 lakhs 50 thousand per year. You can choose a specialization in btech which can cost you approx 30 thousand more. In the admission process, the fees get reduced for Uttarakhand students by showing a hill domicile. And also by pcm marks. It applies from 75% marks in PCM to 95%.
Campus Life
The campus is good and contains all the needy things. You can easily see many fests happening there. The books can be issued from Library for a span of three months. There are various sports activities conducted day to day.
Admission
There was no entrance exam in the admission process. Basically, you should have a certain class 12th percentage to be eligible for admission. The course I selected was Btech cse. You can apply for application online and offline as well. The application fee is 1500 rupees. The application starts in the month of June to August.
