- You can this college at low rank also so if you properly study 4 years you can get a good placement .
Dislikes
- size of the campus is very small which is around 5 acres .
- The college is 7km distance from hostel which is in main campus of university so they provide bus facility for 1st year students
- They shall increase seats inhostel so that every year student can accomodate it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since childhodd i wanted to be a software engineer so that is why i choose BTECH in CSE The student to faculty ratio is decent .Most faculty at GKV has Phd degree in their field and some faculties have their phd in running . All the faculty members have an good experience in teaching. Overall all the faculties are good. We have two sesional exams(unit test) and end semester exams and the paper has overall 50% choices of questions so it is easy to pass semster as well as sessional exam .
Internships Opportunities
since i am a first year undergrad i dont know about this but as i come to know i will update the review so sorry for that . yes but some of the companis like IBM has tieup whith our college and as per my knowledge student go for offcampus internship.
Placement Experience
The placements of college is average , you become eleigible for placements from 7th semester. Most of the student go for off campus placements.The average package is 4-5 lpa . Highest package for this year was 14 lpa . 70% of the student get placed here.i will definitely go for off campus placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The total tution fee of course is 109850 per annum and no scholarship or financial aid is provided from college side . If you are taking hostel it will cost you 55000 per annum . However u can apply for your state government scholarship or national scholarship program.
Campus Life
The "Gyanagni" is the name of technical and cultural fest of our college which is a 3 day event which is not being held since 2019 , I dont know why .The college has a library which has a lot of books but that are not sufficient for every student . All the basic aminities are available in classroom including smart board. College has a ground for cricket as wellas football and other i9ndoor games are also available . Tournamnt like GPL for cricket and football are held annually. The name for coding club is Communicode which is run to develop to coding culture in college .
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has basic facilites like 24x7 electricity and RO water hostel has 2 , 3 , 4 seater rooms this hostel is available for 1st year only . HOstel has a badminton court and a volleyball court and a big garden. The mess food quality is average , it serves 3 times meal a day. when you come for physical reporting they will ask you if you wanna take hostel or not. Yes you can definitely take a room on rent or PG nereby college.
Admission
the basic eligibility is you should be passed 12th class from any recognized board and also have appeared in JEE main examination.As the JEE main results come you can apply for JOSAA and CSAB counselling process to get admission in this college . i have not availed any category reservation benifits , NO the admission process is smooth since its goes from JOSAA and CSAB counselling
