Course Curriculum Overview

The demand was high of computer science during that time the curriculum was good. The student-faculty ratio was good. The faculties are helpful. A lot of practical knowledge was there. The exam was happening, the semester are on time, and not much difficult to score.

Placement Experience

Yes, Placement was good for College. From the seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements. The Companies visited were Satyam Syntel & no. of offers made by 180 students. The percentage of students getting placements was 80.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well during my time we were the 3 batches so the fees were not so high and financial help was there related to education loans. We were having a bank inside the campus only. The internship option was also given to us.

Campus Life

Yes, the annual fest & tech fest was conducted in August. Availability of books & journals was their library. Big library with a lot of copies of books. The campus was huge. A lot of focus on sports & extracurricular activities on campus.

Admission

Yes, the exam happens. The preference was given to students with Uttarakhand domicile. During my time, colleges don't have any separate entrance exams. AIEEE entrance exam, the cut-off was taken on that basic admission was happening.

Interview Experience

For admission during my time, they were using the AIEEE score and after that, we will be having interaction with the dean on what subject to select. Only a written test was there now they have their self-exam and GD also.

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

GEU means business of highest order!
