Good college in Haryana

It is 3rd ranked college in Haryana and counted after NIT KKR.It is situated near NIT KKR.o verall remarks of college is good as there are resources available for students.

Rank of Jee Mains exam is used for admission in this institute. You need all India rank under one lakh for admission in CSE and Mech.1-3 lakh in ECE and 2-5 lakh in BioTech. First two counselling are held thru HSTES and then physical counselling(they holds 70%-80% seats for physical counselling and thus in hstes counselling cutoff goes very high)are done in department.

Theory as well as Practical class rooms are well organised.Syllabus is as like as NITs and IITs.Faculty also prefer lab work and a student is assessed on his Lab work.Overall Course curriculum is as good as other central funded colleges

No,college does not provide internship but you can visit other departments in university for internship like if you are pursuing your b.tech in ece then you can visit Communication dept. No stipend is given by university.

No i dont know much about scholarship but yes for SC/ST students scholarship is given by haryana Govt. for students below avg. annual income

Hostel facilities are available for students.There are 10 hostels including one hostel for foreign students.Harsh Bhawan is mainly available for B.tech Students and it is well maintained hostel.There are enough seats in hostels that every student can take hostel easily.10000 is annual fee for hostel and mess charges are about 2000-3000 per month(according to extras).In first 2 years you have to share your room but in 3rd and 4th year separate room in given to all students(for b.tech only).

A student passed UPSC civil services exam and visited UIET as Alumni.She is 2013 pass out student and motivated us in a much better way.she is so nice in nature that she talked individually to students who want to talk with her

Sessional are held 3 times in a semester and best two numbers are counted for internals.Theory externals are held in December for odd sem and May for even sem. Lab internals and externals are held before theory exams.Every subject has its own credit that means importance of every subject is different.theory exam is of 75 marks and internal is of 25 marks .CGPA is given to students

Notification for online counselling is published on hstes. org.in and you have to register yourself on hstes. org.in.Then a challan of Rs.500 is generated and you have to pay at bank(i think online payment option is not available) after that you have to fill choices for 1st and 2nd online counselling.if a seat is allotted then you have to go to that college and verify your original documents and pay you fee and you have to visit college with all your original documents and fees about 35000(for all haryana Govt. Engg. Colleges).

Faculty of college is well qualified and helpful in nature.Faculty in charges are so helpful that they are available for students at their home.Each teacher masters his subject and you can view dept. vise faculty
