Remarks

Management sucks big time. You cant do anything against management. You ll get an even dismissal. Great Environment to enjoy the college life but students has to find enjoyment in academic fields and research

Entrance Preview

AIEEE and i got all india rank of 15415. My state Rank was around 400 something. This college really need to invest on students. Teachers should pave the way to research and innovation. Teachers here sucks big time with some exception. They only care about marks and academics. Computer Science is the best department regarding this.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course structure is pretty good in Computer science. From 2nd year onwards we have a lot of electives. We can easily select out future through these electives. Department are really strict about labs and assignments. Assignment will be scruitinized very strictly. They even use some expensive system to find whether students copies or not.

Internships Opportunities

No. it doesnt . But companies do come and interview for summer internship for 3rd year students. And college will allow you to pursue internship if you got it by yourself

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are pretty good. But the placement chief is arrogant as hell. Because of this guy a lot of companies dread to visit this college. Other problem is air connectivity between calicut and bangalore which is very expensive. Other than that this college offers pretty decent placement opportunity

College Events

2

Events are the students passion here. I would love to see this passion in participation of Annual techno management fest. None of them are interested in technical events. They just celebrate it for dj parties, showing their machoism and finding duels to prove them they are alphas. For a student who is interested in arts this will be best college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

after modiji came fee structure became extremely expensive. poor people cant afford it without loans. Even middle class cant. So get a loan and study or you have to be pretty rich to survive here or get a minority scholarships. i think now its around 40000 per semester. I studied with half that money.

Fees and Financial Aid

No.there are none which is provided by college. You should find your own. The administrative staff are extremely not helpful. They will become your head ache every now and then if you avail any scholarship or loans

Campus Life

3

Gender equality sucks there. girls has to enter their hostel by 8 pm. Boys and girls cant walk together. there will be professors noting these things down and scolding you every now and then. Girls even cant enter boys hostel. they ll have to find their own hotel rooms for consummation. Extra curricular activities are good. sports fund will be eaten by najeeb. so no worries there.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Mess services are pretty good. They provide south indian north indian food. Vegetarian and Non vegetarian food are also served seperately. Hostel rooms are pretty small. they were constructing new hostels to accomodate increasing number of students. so that might not be an issue now. Main issue is north indians who dont flush toilets after doing their business.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there are extremely active alumni association which spans all around the world. They are very helpful in funding events and stuff. they ll even help you in finding jobs. There will be alumni meetups every now and then

Exam Structure

Exam structure is like you ll have 3 exams in a sem. t1 and t2 will be small test mostly 20 marks or 25 marks. This is like monthy tests. and t3 is end semester exam which covers whole semester. This continues for 8 semesters. Labs are not that frequent. As a CS student you ll get more than enough time to watch all the hollywood films in the world and even all the anime series which you ddnt know it exist.

Admission

After rank publishing, we have to give choice for institution and courses and we will be called if we get it. After going there its just normal procedure as in other colleges. Fill a hell lot of forms and stuff. Pay admission fee via Demand Draft. you have to pay hostel admission fee as well if you want to avail hostel service. Thats it i guess. Not much of complications

Faculty

3

CS is pretty good i guess but still they have significant number openings as faculty. They were saying its hard to find a faculty now a days who are good enough for a NIT. Mechanical and Civil has good faculty but they are tend to be extremely arrogant and annoying old people as i heard from my freinds. You have endure a lot from these old people whose ears are closed since 1950s. They are immune to new ideas and suggestion. so dont try it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance. The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies. The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
