Course Curriculum Overview
Since childhood I have had a curiosity about coding and computer science, that's why I chose IT department. And all the teachers are very helpful in their department. The student-to-teacher ratio is 6:10. All the faculty members are highly educated and their concept is very high, they explain everything in simple language. Some of their from Jadavpur, IIT qualified. Semester exam is very easy to pass, one can pass easily within 1 month of study
Placement Experience
After 6th semester the students are eligible for placement, and companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Microsoft sales, Amazon sales and many more companies are visited for recurring new freshers. The highest package offered by Amazon 32LPA. And TCS offers an average package of 3.5 LPA. almost 100 per cent of students get placed in it department.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology is in the first semester 40000, second semester 62000, in the third and fourth semesters fees is 42250 and after the third and fourth semesters, the fee is 43250. And in the 5th and 6th semesters, the fee is 44250. And anyone who belongs to West Bengal can apply for svmcm scholarship, they need to secure 60 per cent marks in class 12th exams, and other scholarships like national, and Oasis are also available.
Campus Life
The annual fest of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology is Advaya, and the tech fest Paridhi is one of the biggest fests in Kolkata, iitans also participate in Paridhi, Paridhi takes place between April to May, also the techxtra is an inter-college fest. Rotaract Club is one of the pioneering clubs for social services
Admission
After class 12th we have to appear for the west Bengal joint entrance examination or jee mains examination. If you want to take admission in cse or the information technology department then you have to secure a rank under 20000 in wbjee exam, we need to enroll for counseling in wbjee portal. Then we have feel college according your preferences. And if you then selected for meghnad Saha institute of technology then a call you recieved from meghnad Saha institute of technology college department. And you need to go to college with your rank card and class 12th mark sheet, the application fee was 1200 RS . If you belongs to SC st or OBC then you can apply for twf which you got easily. In twf the fees of college per semester is 1200 only.
