We have Wi-Fi in almost all buildings and we have a LAN system at our hostels which provide a very good speed. We have a multi storey library, a good medical facility and we have many sports well-equipped with tools. In our labs, we have good research machines. We have good canteens. There is a little issue of hygiene but nevertheless, the food is good. We have a shared room in between two in the first year and from the second year, everyone gets a single room.

Totally based on latest technology there are all Phd and fully committed faculity college and professor and course curriculum is always designed to concentrate more on research.

Yes college provides many internship opportunities.For internship, last year, many companies came like Nokia, Goldman Sachs, Swiggy, etc. recruited the students and are given handsome stipends to the selected students of around 30k per month.

Placements were overall good. Most of the companies that come to the campus are looking for a coding background. If you are in CSE, ECE, EE and you want to a coding job and have a decent CGPA, you will definitely get a great offer. However, if you are interested in core, there are very few companies. For ECE and EE, there were 3-4 companies. In mechanical, civil and metallurgy, the number of core companies is the same. Still, about 70-80% students get placed. Also, a few companies with finance and management roles come to the campus. The highest package varies every year but is generally about Rs. 40 lakhs for on-campus placements, and off could go up to Rs. 1 crore. The lowest can be as low as Rs. 3 lakhs per annum depending on your branch.

Cultural Event is "THOMSO" which is one of the best in north India and even counts in hit list of Asia.Participants are in thousanda and from many colleges,its much of the required fund is made through sponsership and also assisted by collegeTech Fest is "COGNIZANCE" which is India's Best tech fest and in this we invite many of the tech celeb to give seminars and events like Chem e Car,Armageddon,etc are of great interest.

The fee is affordable and is regulated and funded by govt. So it's not more than 5-6 lakhs for the whole course.This is definitely way less than any of the private colleges. While there has been slight increase in tuition fees with time but I think it's still very reasonable.

Scholarship which i am still availing is MCM(merit cum means scholarship)in which based on you academic performance you are awarded with 1 Lakh rs per year. The Institute offers merit-cum-means scholarship to 25% of undergraduate students. Several other scholarships are announced from time to time. Bank loans are also easily available whenever required. Financial help is provided as Institute free studentship and scholarships to undergraduate students belonging to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

Yes there are many extracurriculars and yes of course college encourages us to take part actively.

Hostel facility is very good and is available for all the students in ist year it is on twin sharing basis from first year onward it single room basisHostels are well maintained. NO EXTRA charges for hostel, it is included in the fees is Rs. 50000 per sem

Senior students were very helpful in guiding in each and every aspect of the college life. Whenever any help was required, seniors were there to help. Seniors / Alumni were there to help in case of any internship or placement help is required.

We won't get tired by these exams.Exam Structure is subjective and totally depends on teacher what to ask or not and if the student goes regularly in the class and has a good relation with the teacher than he can easily guess the pattern of paper. Labs are on different dates and mainly co.

The faculty depends on the department and the date of joining since IITR is converted from the University of Roorkee. There are many faculty members who are there since that time. The thinking of this faculty is not so modern, so they might not be very helpful. Although you can also find some faculty members who are very helpful and interesting. Also, the teaching methods might not be as good as you would expect from an IIT professor. But most of the new teachers are good in research, teaching and also have a helping nature towards the students. The faculty to student ratio is good, about 20:1 including B.Tech, M. Tech, and PhDs. Industry exposure is hard to get in the academics. If you are lucky enough to have an on-campus industrial internship, you could get a chance of industrial exposure. The course curriculum is not very useful, although efforts are being made to change this.
