Faculty
The faculty depends on the department and the date of joining since IITR is converted from the University of Roorkee. There are many faculty members who are there since that time. The thinking of this faculty is not so modern, so they might not be very helpful. Although you can also find some faculty members who are very helpful and interesting. Also, the teaching methods might not be as good as you would expect from an IIT professor. But most of the new teachers are good in research, teaching and also have a helping nature towards the students.
