What Students Say

Likes

Teachers are very supportive and very polite nature.
Library is best. It has approximately all the competitive books and college course books
College provides scholarship for needy students. Some time, it provides full fees exemption.

Dislikes

Some non teaching staff's behaviour is not up to the mark.
There are lack of decipline and some courses students are rude.
Elections in college spreads casteism, regionalism and class associated discrimination.

I have a great interest in Geography so I have chosen this course. There are 15 faculty members including professors and assistant professors and There were only 50 students in my batch. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders from Central University and have done a lot of research work and published many books. It was a semester-based course and the exam timetable was fixed.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In 3 years, I have never seen any hike in college fees and it was fixed. The college provides scholarships to students from college funds on the basis of their financial status. Campus placement is also done and many companies approach the college.

Campus Life

There were a lot of societies and Some NGO activities. And college organizes a fest every year in the month of February and every department also organized the fest separately. There are many sports teams in college. And Library is very good. It contains over 2 lakh books. Classrooms are good and every classroom has 5 to 6 fans and 3 to 4 windows for proper ventilation.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is to pass out 12th board examination. The application was available on Delhi University Website.I belong to OBC category and because of that I got the reservation and got admission at OBC cut off. That time admission process was based on 12th merit based but now it has been change and become CUET merit based.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination.
