Entrance Preview
I was selected through IIT JEE 2012. Preferred this institution due to its proximity to my home town. Selected thus course after talking to some alumni and personal interest.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was not that great initially but received a major overall for the preceding batch. Practicals had a lot of focus. The institution focused on individual research and promote the publication of research in journals. I had electives from the management department, related to business management and banking and finance.
Internships Opportunities
No college did not provide internships, but companies visit to hire interns directly. So it's like a kind of placement scenario where you appear for tests and interviews to take up an internship. The experience is great and more helpful than a simple spoon feed intern. The stipend would be at least Rs. 10000 per month.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario was good enough. 80pc of students who appear for placements do get placed. All top companies like google , fb , microsoft, goldman sachs etc visit. Average package varies from branch to branch , could be around 7 lakhs per annum for the insititute.
College Events
Thomso is the cultural fest, and cognizance is the technical fest. Both have huge footfalls ,over 3-4k people. The tech fest has an annual budget of over 1cr and is solely organised by students. The money is also gathered by students only, not bybtge institute.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was quite affordable compared to the colleges. Rs.34000 was fees per semester. (Excluding hostel and mess).

The college has many scholarships for better-performing students. Multiple loan options are also available. In campus.
Campus Life
The were a variety of extracurricular activities, sports, and groups exploring each and every aspect of life. One of the best places for the overall development of a person. Be it writing or acting or sports or even gaming everything is there including world-class sports facilities.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I was in a hostel. The rooms were single for every person with a common mess. I paid Rs. 15000 per semester for both food and hostel stay combined.
Exam Structure
Multiple exams did happen in a single day, but that was fine. It was overall great with not much pressure, but regular quizzes and presentations did happen.
Faculty
The faculty is very experienced and has done numerous and important research work. All may not be best in imparting knowledge but sure they all have tremendous amounts of it. The standard varies from teacher to teacher. Bit some are truly life-changing.
