Remarks

Good remark - It's one of the best colleges a student of engineering can get. Bad remark - you won't feel good to leave this college after completing the course, it's too good! Overall experience - I feel happy to be here.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for Joint Entrance Examination ie. JEE mains followed by JEE advanced, then it was the time for the choice filling. After researching about the various branches, I confidently managed to make a priority wise arranged list of the colleges and branches that I wished to join & finally landed here in IITR. I didn't go through an interview. It's all about a genuine interest that made me take this course ie. Biotechnology engineering

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I think, my course serves the purpose as far as my expectations are considered, & most of the part related to it I've covered earlier. At the initial stage, practical learning was not possible for obvious reasons related to the complexity of our course, but as of now, I can say, yeah! we're taking part in practical aspects. Yes, there are many research initiative taken by our institute, our institute recently discovered a drug for Chikungunya. Being in 2nd year I didn't see any departmental elective course, but as of now, we had elective courses like Sociology or Economics and various proficiency.

Internships Opportunities

I'm in 2nd year, let's wait a year more to review this section.

Placement Experience

4.5

It's acceptable, ie. almost 80% of students get placed every year, some go for higher studies in foreign universities. Major companies that visited our campus include Samsung, Adobe, Schlumberger, Goldman Sachs, Reckitt Benckiser. The average package is almost 12 lakhs an annum.

College Events

4.5

Thomso and Cognizance, they are of the biggest cultural and tech fest of north India. Average footfall was nearly equal to 1 lakhs. College authorities were very cooperative and friendly. The organization is really good here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's completely affordable, 2 lakhs tution fee + 50k approx. other charges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides scholarships and loans, well I didn't take any.

Campus Life

4.5

It's really good, we have more than enough opportunities to explore our inner talents, special thanks to our cultural council that's full of various clubs and sections. We have almost everything to explore ourselves. Our college provides almost everything that a college can provide, ranging from the best academic facilities, research, and placement opportunities to the socialization foreground. Anyways, It's all about social good experiences and academic achievements, & yeah I've almost all of them.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I reside in a dormitory, it's the personal room, facilitated with all required types of furniture and a superfast internet connection.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is moderately strong. Though efforts can be seen for creating a good Alumni Network.

Faculty

4.5

Most of our professors are trained in foreign universities. They are really open-minded and interactive. I love the way they teach the subject and attract our attention to the subject. No doubt, the standards of teaching here are equal to teaching in the world's renowned universities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
