There are many good things about campus. But I would raise some negative things like mess food should made better, semester exchange programs should be properly implemented.
Entrance Preview
JEE is the exam we have to write to take admission in any IIT. No there is no any interview process. My interest to study in an old IIT made my way to IITR.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course curriculum is very diverse including things from my own branch to other branches as well. There are various research initiates like SURA in our college.
Internships Opportunities
College help us to get an internship in 3rd year. AVERAGE STIPEND IS AROUND 20000 PER MONTH.
Placement Experience
Here placements are normal mostly dominated by IT FIRMS. Placement office is very hard working.
College Events
Here we have many events throughout the year ranging from sports fest to cultural fest. AVERAGE FOOTFALL in cultural fest is around 30000 and in Technical fest 50000
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tuition fee-100000 Mess fee-12000 Misc-3000 Tuition fee is too much it should be less.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are for economically weak student as well as for meritorious students.
Campus Life
There are various campus groups like SDS labs, SHARE IITR, DANCE section, and music. So here we have many good options to choose. Till now, I have a nice experience in college. Since I am more interested towards technical things so it is a good platform
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are little bit of bad quality. Living good standards are not so good as well as mess good is also disgusting.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni is the most important strength of IIT Roorkee. They are always ready to help us in raising funds as well as for any guidance.
Exam Structure
In one sem we have one 1 MTE and 1 ETE have weightage 25% and 50% respectively. REST LIES WITH THE CLASS PROFESSER.
Faculty
All our faculty members are well qualified and experienced. They support us in all situation and motivate us to work for nation.
