Remarks

The college is good but a lot of politics happens there. If the management and faculty wants they can take this college very far. A bit far from amenities. Good and clean hostel. Ridiculous mess service. Nice faculty. In the clouds. Good weather. No placements primarily because of the location is way up in the mountains.

I wrote JEE mains exam and participated in UTU counselling. The process is pretty simple.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was Electrical Engineering. It was pretty good and faculty was amazing. The college supported the students and we did a lot of projects and research papers.

No.. we attended internships outside the college. The college did help us to get internships in THDC.

No placements. Due to location of college being in mountains, no company visited the campus.

College fest escalade, fresher AAGAAZ, farewell, HERE, and a lot of international conferences. Research paper events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a government college so it was pretty affordable. 25000 tuition fees per semester. Total around 3 lacs for 4 years without hostel fees.

No. I took. A flat nearby. Hostel was good and clean. Sharing rooms. Food in hostel was awful.

Very chill culture. Atmosphere is cool. Literally.

Faculty is very qualified and experienced. Very supportive and interactive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

Good place and college. Bad Admin and Faculty

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online. You need to register in UTU website uktech.ac.in and select choices of college for counseling.It includes all the govt engineering colleges in Uttarakhand. It is easy and good process....Read More
