Getting a course in Electrical engineering was a case of going into both public and government sectors. We can go in the IT sector or in higher education and in government jobs like IES and IAS also. In NIT there are a lot of faculty members respective of their department. The ratio might be 1:5. Most of the teachers have done Ph.D. from well-recognized institutes like IIT and NITs. The teaching method is quite good. It is good for understanding levels or for semester exams but not for exams like Gate and IES. Exams are held very timely with no delay in it . Even if the syllabus is not completed exam will be held. The difficulty level of exams increases here as there is very less chance of cheating in exams and if anyone is caught then they got a backlog in that subject because of the discipline committee (DISCO). Exams questions are all related to the topic only that the teacher taught but sometimes they make questions hard.

Currently, I am in my second year and I have not done any internship except for the industrial training in BSPTCL. And it's the outcome is very nice. I came to know about all the people working there and the work they do with the Knowledge of technology.

In NIT Patna students after the third year are eligible for the campus placement. Many companies like Google, Infosys, Amazon, and many more visits us hiring students in different big posts. The Highest package offered in nit patna is 52 Lakh and the average package is 14 lakh. The percentage of students getting placement varies branch-wise like for CSE it is 82% and for ECE it is lower than it. I am planning to get placed in the company and will prepare for the IES exam.

The fee structure of nit patna is 1.66 lakh per year for the General caste. For SC /SC it is around 50k only including mess. For the students whose parent's income is less than 10 lakh, they also have fees less. Also, we can pay fees by taking loans and scholarship programs from the government.

The annual fest which is conducted here is CORONA/MELANGE and is organized in March. Tech fest - Eccentric and is conducted in November. All the books and journals are available in the library which is useful for engineering students. The classroom is also well maintained with AC and a big board with a smart projector( not so working). For the extracurricular activities, we have a building name SAC Building where many games like table tennis, etc are there. There is also a GYM for both boys and girls separate. Many clubs are there dealing with different activities One social club name is SANKALP which teaches students from slums and places where parents can't afford to make them study.

Hostel facilities are very good, there are all basic amenities like the water cooler, purified water, and mess facilities inside the hostel. The rooms are quite nice and maintained We get a personal table, chair, almirah, and an attached washroom, balcony, etc. The registration process is very easy only we have to go to the NITP site and in the fee and payment option we can pay the fee of mess easily through online. The locality of our hostel is best as it is in the market area only near to all the basic places like stations, temples and the main market.

To get admission to NITs we have to give JEE( Joint Entrance Exam) which is only for the PCM course. After the result is declared then we have to participate in the counseling round where we have to fill in our choice of college priority-wise. After counseling, we get our college name and branches. The Application form is filled which is available on the website of NTA itself. Every knowledge of admission and admission procedure is available on the website itself. The Application fees depend upon the caste for backward caste it is quite low. Tuition fees are negligible. All you have to give is your hostel and mess fee and less than 6000 admission fees. Reservation criteria are there which varies year to year. The Admission process was very smooth here.
