It was quite learning.

I want to highlight only one thing. The teaching quality of college is not good. Everything else is just good. I learned too much in these 2 years.

I gave BITS, JEE Mains, and JEE Advanced exams. I landed up in this college by clearing JEE Advanced-2015. No interview process was followed, admissions were accepted on the basis of JEE Advanced exam ranks. My rank made me choose the course I am currently doing. I was interested in Mechanical engineering but I got Metallurgical and Materials engineering as my course.

The course is fine, but not as good as i expected as professors just come in class and just read the slides. They are not enthusiastic or energetic as we had teachers in our coaching classes for JEE preparation. Most of them just read slides in class and do not interact much in class with the students. And also many professors' voice is not properly audible even after using microphones. As far as practical learning is concerned, yes we have labs and we learn things in those lab hours and they are good. Yes, of course, many Research initiatives are taken by the institute but I don't know that. We had my own deptt. , Humanities depth. and Management deptt. electives till now.

We have many sports, cultural, technical fests like Sangram, Srishti, Cognizance and Thomso, etc. of which Sangram, Cognizance, and Thomso are big enough.

Fees are around 1.6 lakh rupees including everything (everything!).

Yes, they provide scholarships like MCM which is a tuition fee waiver. I did avail of MCM. They also provide a good loan scheme of which I don't know much about.

Extracurricular* is one of the best things here. Here different groups are formed having various interests. Recruitment of the students is done in those groups but not all students get recruited according to their interests so many students' inner talent does not get explored.

Yes, I am residing in the hostel having all single rooms which are all good, no problem in that. But food, food is never ever that good as we like to eat. No one likes hostel mess food. But it has improved a bit after the privatization of the mess.

Labs are generally 2-3 hours, but they are not that much tiring. But for exams, we have exams for two times a semester. We have 6-7 courses a semester and Mid-semester exams which are conducted in 3-4 days and End semester exams which are conducted in 6-7 days are too much tiring.
