NIT Patna

Here course curriculum is so well. The faculties are also so helpful and understanding. Faculties are so much qualified, all are PhD holders. Counting of professors is less in comparison to assistant professors. Exams are taken in proper time and difficulty is sometimes easy and moderate. One mid-semester, one end-sem, and other practical exams are taken in a semester.

Students are advised to do internships to get their degrees. Here also college helps students. It gives a lot of opportunities to intern in his/her interested field from the start of college. And in that some are of a paid type and some are not of that type means in some internships students get a stipend and in some they do not get.

After 3rd-year students become eligible for placements. Many companies visit here. Placements here are done in two phases one in the December period and one in April and May period. The highest package bagged was 1.6 Crore and the average package is 9Lpa. Students get placed I'm a good percentage. I'm also opting for campus placements.

The fees of NIT Patna is not so low not so high. It is that much that one middle-class family can afford it. And if that much is difficult to pay then there are so many financial assistance. Like family income categorized. If family income is less than 1 Lakh then the student need not pay the tuition fees, if family income is 1-5 Lakh then the student needs to pay only one-third of the tuition fees and if income exceeds 5 Lakh then he/she will have to pay the entire fee. The college also provides some scholarships.

College is very good from every point of view, It conducts its annual fest tech fest and many other events, and there are so many clubs that conduct events and make college life memorable. One will create so many memories in this college life. The only thing which I feel low about is the size of the campus. 40 acres of campus is a little small for a large infrastructure college. The sports festival is also celebrated every year. In sports festivals it conducts itramurals means inter-departmental, inter nit means all NITs participate in that. And almost every club is run by students like the tesla club, robotics club, music, dance, etc.

The hostel facility is also good but for 1st-year students, I will say it's average because here students are very many but hostels are very less. This means 4-6 students accommodation in one room in 1st year than from second-year students get better hosteller facility. Here the mess is very good, the taste and quality of food provide is very good, yes but South Indian people will suffer here.

First of all, I prepared for JEE and cracked it in 2021. (Jee application form can be filled out from the NTA website). Then after clearing it, it gave me some rank for which I had to choose colleges where my rank is fitting. I researched it and found some colleges where my rank fitted then made a list of colleges and interested branches. Then I'd gone through the counseling process through the JOSAA portal then in the third round I got a seat at NIT Patna in the Electrical Engineering branch.
