Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Btech cause of my interest in the field of programming and software development. The faculties in the college are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are not very strict apart from some but also those that provide a lot of leeway to students. The exams were held during the mid and end of the semester. I am currently having exams as of now. They are not difficult to say but of course a little bit tricky.
Placement Experience
The students from the 5th semester become eligible for placement as that's when companies start coming to the campus. Most of the tech companies like Microsoft Amazon, TCS, Wipro, etc. visit the college and make a lot of offers. The highest package of a girl name Pooja with a package of 89 lakhs in a tech company. The percentage is high in terms of placements up to 80 percent. My plan is to get a placement from the college itself but if I don't then I would try my luck outside campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of mine including all four years with some discount for being a native resident of Uttrakhand is 1200000. There are scholarships for Uttrakhand resident students. The annual fee is 300000. I currently don't have a stipend as I am currently in the 4th semester.
Campus Life
The college has events and competitions most of the time like cultural fest, grafest, and many others. Many clubs in college do events like singing, fun games, etc. There is a library in college with all sorts of books and journals to read and study. Most of the sports in our college are like football, cricket, basketball, badminton, etc. with teams also. Many students run groups and clubs like singing clubs, cultural clubs, science clubs, etc.
Admission
The admission process for me was not very challenging. My father knew someone at the college and he told us everything about the admission procedure. I was eligible for the course not by much as I achieved 75 percent in my 12 class. The form was available both online as well as on campus. I got some discount if you can say as the college provide some relief in the fees for the native residents of Uttrakhand.
