- Hostel is situated outside of campus so can't go to campus in midnight
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose BTech in the electronics and communication engineering stream because here laboratories for research and practical work are well developed and teachers are also very supportive as we saw in the previous year 2 students grabbed more than 1 cr package. If we talk about the student-faculty ratio then it will be around 1:16. Here teachers are well qualified and every teacher is BTech mtech and phd qualified. And moving to the exam section the here exams are conducted twice in one semester named mid-semester and end semester and honestly speaking you can't pass it with one night of study so you have to study here.
Internships Opportunities
For CSE / IT students this year some companies like Amazon, SAP Labs, HighRadius, Navriti, and UHG came for hiring Interns. Only 3rd year (2–3 months summer internship) and 4th year (6 months internship during 8th sem ) students were allowed to appear for campus Internship. So either you get hired through the campus Internship or you have to manage it by yourself
Placement Experience
This year's placement is also good as of the previous year the average package is around 12.8 lakhs and the highest package is 52 lakhs from cred almost 91 percentage students placed. Many companies visited like cred, Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc My future plan is to become a software developer.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure here is similar to another nit as 67000 per even semester and 67600 per odd semester and also a special case of 98000 for only the first semester. The hostel and mess fee is 24000 per semester and the food is also good. On the name of scholarships. here is also a similar case as of other nits as No tuition fee for students below 1 lakh family income and sc st pwd students 2/3 remission of tuition fee for students whose family income is between 1 to 5 lakhs

The institute maintains a central library which has 150,000 books and 1,100 e-journals and works for only about 10 hours per day. Until 2015 the college had two separate festivals, the cultural Fest Melange and the technical fest Corona. From 2015 onwards the college celebrates Corona and Melange together, occurring every year in January. Students from colleges all over the country participate including students from IIT Patna, and BIT Patna. NIT Patna has so many clubs Tesla, robotics, hackslash, Vista, expresso,desco and so many others.
Admission
I applied for an entrance exam known as the joint entrance exam (jee mains). Eligibility of the course is that you must have physics chemistry and mathematics in your class 12th and also should have 75 percent as aggregate in class 12th . You can find the application form on the official site of nta as jeemains.nta.nic.in I am from ews category as my family income is below 1 lakh.
