- College faculty is one of the best and well qualified & highly experienced many professors are doing their research in their areas.
- The hostel facility is very good .the rooms have to be shared by 3 students there are around 7 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel.
- also, there are lots of clubs in nit patna like sae, isie , asme, saptak(for music), drama club, photography club, nss , e-cell, coding club, and many more all these clubs provide students to explore themselves in all field
Dislikes
- One negative point i want to add is that some of the professors have quite bad vocabulary which is really a major turn-off.
- Small campus is one of the greatest drawbacks of this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose BTech in the mechanical engineering stream because here laboratories for research and practical work are well developed and teachers are also very supportive as we saw in the previous year 2 students grabbed more than 1 cr package. If we talk about the student-faculty ratio then it will be around 1:16. Here teachers are well qualified and every teacher is BTech MTech and Ph.D. qualified.
Internships Opportunities
For CSE / IT students this year some companies like Amazon, SAP Labs, HighRadius, Navriti, and UHG came for hiring Interns. Only 3rd year (2–3 months summer internship) and 4th year (6 months internship during 8th sem ) students were allowed to appear for campus Internship. So either you get hired through the campus Internship or you have to manage it by yourself.
Placement Experience
This year's placement is also good as of the previous year the average package is around 12.8 lakhs and the highest package is 52 lakhs from cred almost 91 percent of students placed. Many companies visited like cred, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. My future plan is to become a software developer.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure here is similar. On the name of scholarships. here is another nit as 67000 per even semester and 67600 per odd semester and also a special case of 98000 for only the first semester. The hostel and mess fee is 24000 per semester and the food is also g also a similar case as of other nits as No tuition fee for students below 1 lakh family income and SC, ST, ST, and PWD.

Facilities in NIT Patna campus *Central Library *Computer Center *Student Activity Center (SAC) *GYM (separate for boys and girls.) *College Canteens(Govt Canteen, Nescafe Canteen) *TT and Badminton court with Synthetic *International flooring *Squash Courts *Medical Center *Cricket / Football Ground with stands for 1000+ students. The library in Nit Patna has various types of books.
Hostel Facilities
Here 3 seaters are provided to first-year students in which you will get your personal almirah, table, and chair. On moving to mess food, so here food quality is better than average and also some special items like sweets are provided on a coupon system. You can register for the hostel from the HMC office.
Admission
I applied for an entrance exam known as the joint entrance exam (jee mains). Eligibility of the course is that you must have physics chemistry and mathematics in your class 12th and also should have 75 percent as aggregate in class 12th. You can find the application form on the official site of NTA as jee mains.nta.nic.in I am from the SC category.
