Good and nice atmosphere here.

This is good college located in a good atmosphere.But the problem is the management is not well handling the problems of students.

The only entrance exam to my college is the JEE advanced exam. Eligibility criteria for JEE advanced is the JEE mains. I wrote JEE mains and was qualified for the advanced exam. After JEE advanced results were declared i participated in the JoSAA counselling and got a seat in chemical engineering in my college.

The course curriculum was designed to give us a ability to learn the subject practically rather than theoretically. So the curriculum mainly focus on labs. In fact we have more lab sessions when compared to theory classes. In the summer break we have a chance to learn some optional subjects like robotics etc. In the first year the subjects for all the students are same. The core subjects will introduced from the second year.

Yes my college provides internship. only the students of final year get the chance . I'm in my second year and didn't get a chance to intern.But my seniors said that it was a great opportunity to intern with companies which helped them to get a view on the working of many corporate gaints.

When coming to the placements my college has excellent record. The student placement cell takes care of all the placements activities. The average placement is 7 to 8 lakhs per annum. Companies like Intel,Google, Sun microsystems, Wipro,etc come for campus placements. Almost all the students get placed in placements but some reject the offer and choose to go for higher studies.

My college organizes many cultural and technical events. Among them Alcharinga is a very famous event. The footfall for this event is very high. This event is organised for a week and many students from different colleges come here to participate. This gives us a chance to interact with our peers.

The tuition fee is normally 2.10 lakhs per annum. The fee is affordable by all because there are fee concession schemes for the students depending on the income of their parents. Also the students need to pay an extra of 70,000 for hostel and mess facilities. This fee is very less when compared to any top most deemed private institutes.

Scholarships are not given but fee concession is give based on the income of the parents. Also many banks come forward to give loans at a very low interest.

There are many extracurricular activities conducted by my college. My college hosts the intra IIT sports fest where many of the students from all the IIT's . Every student gets a opportunity to participate in theses activities but they need to prove themselves.

The hostels in my college offer single, double, triple, and quadruple sharing rooms. But in the first year the students are only given room with double or triple sharing. The rooms are small but well maintained.the mess food is good. There is different menu for both south and north indians. The hostel and mess fee constitutes 70,000 rupees

The alumni network of my university is good. My seniors always keep in touch with our college and they help us in getting funds from their company at the time of funds.Also the seniors are helpful and they guide us in every possible situation.

Our exams are conducted on a semester basis. There are 2 semesters per a academic year. In a semester there are assignments , mini projects and labs which carry weightage. Also lab internals are conducted before mid and end semester.Our exams are easy to excel if the students have a good conceptual understanding.

The faculty of my college has good experience in teaching. They are in this field from many years and they always try to adapt new and innovative methods to make learning simple and efficient. Most of the had written many book in the field of engineering and also have many thesis works under them.They are very good in interacting with us and also they help us in non-academic issues as well.
