I choose this course as it was my dream to be a software developer. Student interaction with the faculty is good. The bad thing is that the knowledge of some of the teachers are not up to the mark they sometimes hire freshers to teach the student and sometimes they send the students that are doing phd there to teach the students. Some of the teacher brings a page and they teach us with those pages. One of our teachers reads ppts and files in the classroom and the students are not able to understand. Otherwise, some of the teachers are very knowledgeable and hardworking. Exams are held 2 times in a semester with practical and theory as well.

There are fewer companies that provide internships to students at graphic era hill university. Zscaler is one of the companies that provide internship opportunities to students with a stipend of 50k per month. Projects are very necessary in order to get internships as well as job

Students are eligible for campus placements in their last year of college. Students can also try off-campus placements and internships before that. The highest package offered is 48 lakhs per annum and the average package ranges from 3.6 lpa to 4.8 lpa. On average 50 to 60 percent of the students are placed in the company by the college. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in a multinational company where I can utilize and enhance my skills and add value to it.

The fees are high. The student gets a scholarship of 10% if he is from Uttarakhand. Girls also get an extra 10% scholarship. If the father of the student is in the army the student is eligible to get an extra 5% off on his fees. Academic scholarship is also available on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the 12th class. The chance of internships is very less. Yes indeed the college provides jobs but students are very much so it is difficult to provide jobs to everyone. The competition level is high as the student of all four campuses are involved in the placement process. The highest package could go to 50 - 55 lakhs and the lowest to 2.2 lakhs per annum based on the performance of the students.

Apart from placements graphic era is also famous for its grafest in which various celebrities of India take part. Tech fests like codethon and hackathons and much more are organised on campus. Grafest is conducted in the summertime. Classrooms are good and there is also good availability of books. Various sports like volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton etc are being played and tournaments are also held for the same. NSS is one of the social clubs in Gehu.

The eligibility criteria are that a student should have at least 65% from Pcm branch in 12 standards from any board. The application form could be found on the online portal of graphic era hill university or you can reach out to the nearby college of the graphic era and ask them for a form or registration process. The admission process is simple you just need to show some documents and fill out the registration form. The registration process is very simple for any student.
