Likes

Hostel is very good , there is lot of facilities available in such a affordable price. AC is available in every room. Triple sharing of room is there. There is 5 washing machine available for hostel. Water cooler is also available in each floor.
College comes under ministry of railways.
Internship opportunities are available each year after the end of academic year.

Dislikes

There is less number of permanent faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to pursue electronics and communication engineering. And this college provides me with a good opportunity for its specialization in rail engineering. The faculty-student ratio is 60:2, Faculty Qualification is Ph.D., Mtech, Term exams are for 2 hours and it's moderate.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 230000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available each year after the end of the academic year. Companies like DMRC, Alstom, Siemens, and DRDO offer a seat for internships. Especially this thing is very helpful for an undergraduate student for practical knowledge of theoretical concepts.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike policy is 10 percent per year. 230000 lakhs per year. I haven't received a scholarship because I am not eligible. I got an opportunity for an internship each year. This thing is very unique. It gives practical exposure.

Campus Life

The annual fest is AGNEE Fest, tech fest is Epitome in may month. Almost all sorts of books are available in the library. Classroom amenities are all there like AC, and projector. Sports fest is also named Aujasya. Group, Club are there Student Cell, Technocrats, Media and Tech Club.

Admission

Eligibility - 12th Pass, JEE Qualified. You can find all the details in gsv.ac.in Reservation benefits as per UGC guidelines for a normal University in India. Admission is through JEE Mains Score. You can check the cutoff on the website.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

Also,our syllabus is designed in such a manner that, very few university (may be IIMs only in Indian case) in India have. NRTI a college for Transport Enthusiasts.

The National Rail And Transportation Institute is one of its kind and in the entire nation there is no other Institute that offers any similar curriculum. Since very small age I had developed an affection towards Transport Sector and being a Railfan it was quite simple while going for this college. This college offers a very wide variety of subjects and courses which is helpful in every way but at the same time due to vast variety, it becomes tough for the students to cope up with every single subject. The admission process is very simple we just had to qualify for an aptitude test taken by NRTI and I am really thankful to an Inside NRTI team that helped me in this.
