CET (at that point of time), score was lower and as per rank got Computer Science in this college through common counselling process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was standard. College was still very new at that point of time, so there was no electives as such. Courses were approved by UPTU , and was offered based on availability of teachers.

Internships Opportunities

There was TPO in the college which was helping students in getting internship opportunity, but was able to offer to only 50% students. There was no stipend provided as such.

Placement Experience

College placement was not great at our time, due to location of college. Placement has improved quite a bit over time.

College Events

We had mainly 2 annual events. One was Technical festival and other cultural festival. There was some participation from external colleges also, but our team used to go to other colleges and participate.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not ware of any loan. Also it was not really needed, as fees was quite low during my time. I was getting national scholarship which was covering my tuition fees.

Campus Life

Campus life was good. In my batch there was no female, as girls hostel was not ready, started after a batch. Overall still a very less percentage. Sports tournaments, cultural activities were frequently organized.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network with college is very weak. Alumni batches are very well connected amongst them. Senior students are at very good positions in many big companies and college can get advantage of that.

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
