Good college

Nit kuk is a fun place. You have so much for exploring. College has resources for knowledge, fun, entertainment. Class timing is very tired . We have classes from 8.30 to 4.30 which consumes whole day. We have weekends for fun and chilling. It is a good place.

We wrote jee mains exam for admission. You should have a decent rank in mains for get admitted in nit kurukshetra. Their is no any interview process for admission however document verification is mandatory at the admission time.

I have civil branch which has good practical learning. We have 48 subjects for 4 years and trust me if u like mathematics and have good command over it then this will be fun . Otherwise , you will feel bored for all calculation work. We have projects and training periods which provide enough practical and real time knowledge for meeting with corporate requirement. For completing course you have to be regular in classes and should maintain at least 75 percent attendance.

Yes...nit kurukshetra provide internship but for limited students like 20 percent. Other students have to manage from outside. Internship and training are compulsory in academics and you have grades for them. Averge stipend amounts 25 to 30 k for 2 months.

Placements are good in nit kurukshetra. You can get a decent package if you work hard in academics as well as in soft skills. Avg. Package is 6 to 8 lacks per annum. Around 160 companies visit nit kurukshetra. Almost 80 percent students got placed in campus placement.

Nit kuk has huge numbers of events like confluence, techspardha etc.

Fee structure is same as in all nits. You have to pay half yearly. Per semester fee is approx 43000. Hostel and mess charges are excluded in this. Mess bill amounts 5000 per month. In an average their is an expense of 9 to 10 lac for complete course. This is for ours batch. Now nit has some other scheme based on financial situation. Now fee is approx 120000 per semester.

Nit kurukshetra has some schemes for loan with sbi.

Facilities for extracurricular is good.

I am a host elite. Triple seater for 1 st year and single rooms after that.

My college has strong alumni association and they interacts with students usually.

For civil engineering nit kurukshetra has best faculty then any other iits and nits. We have a big team of professor who have more than 25 year experience in teaching. Faculty is quite supportive in most of cases. They are old, disciplined and have expertise in their course so if you are planning to crack gate or other exam this place is best for you. Nit kuk has 50 percent marks as internal so you have to be disciplined with your faculty. At last I can say that teaching standard is good.
