What is Amrita University, Amritapuri

I chose this course at Amrita University due to my strong interest in the subject and the promising career prospects it offered. Amrita University's renowned reputation and the comprehensive curriculum content of the program were additional factors that influenced my decision. The faculty-to-student ratio at Amrita is generally maintained at a conducive level to ensure personalized attention and guidance for students. The faculty members are highly qualified, with relevant academic credentials and industry experience. Most of them might also have a Phd in their fields. The university's structured academic calender includes timely term exams to assess students' progress. It aims to provide a fair opportunity for students to prepare and perform well in these exams. While the difficulty level of the exams to pass can vary depending o the course and subject.

The companies which I saw come into our campus were Cisco, Sap Labs, Samsung, Intuit, and many more which were offering a decent stipend. Atlassian was one big company that offered a stipend of around 2lks per month. Sap Labs offered a stipend of 30k per month.

The one thing which is always there here in Amrita is placements. From Sem 4 itself, you can get internships here at Amrita. There will be selection criteria that are based on your CGPA. There are lots of companies which come offer you jobs like Amazon, Wipro, Cisco, Intuit, Samsung, and a lot more. Around 500+ companies visit Amrita. Last year the highest package was 54 lks per annum. 100% of the students who sit in placements are placed in companies.

At Amrita Univerisity, the fee structure is designed to balance affordability and resources. While fees vary by program and campus. Amrita offers scholarships to eligible students based on merit i.e. the entrance exam. On-campus job opportunities are also available, allowing students to manage educational costs. there are lots of my friends who got into internships and earned around 60k-70k per month which is very helpful to financial fees which was through amrita.

Vidyut is one annual fest to talk about which is the biggest multi-fest that happens at Amrita where you can have fun and also gain knowledge. Mostly that is conducted in January. and there are a lot of events happening in college every month. The library is pretty good and has a lot of books and is a good place to study. Sports are not so good at Amritapuri. Websites that are handled by students are : 1. Traboda 2. ACM amrita and a lot more And there are many clubs here you name it you will have it

The hostel facility here in Amritapuri is not so good. You will get a table to work on and a cot to sleep in. 4 members per room with 2 fans and common washrooms. Here in Kerala, the food is OK but not so good which needs to be improved. The registration process will be taken care of on the campus itself.

I came to know about Amrita University through advertisements and decided to apply online. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entrance exam was also conducted online. Fortunately, I secured a rank of around 360 on the exam, which allowed me to get admission to the Amritapuri campus in Computer Science.
