Yes and it was fully funded. Plus the numerous collaborations proved to be a boon for us as it gave us ample opportunity to choose
Placement Experience
We have a direct placement scheme into isro wherein the ones obtaining a cgpa above 7.5 are eligible for the isro job with cgpa being the only deciding factor.

Technical fest- conscientia, Cultural- dhanak.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fully funded by the department of space, India along with a book grant. The only criterion was getting a cgpa above 7.5 which was rather easy to obtain.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels were excellent and the mess food was free of cost fully paid for by the government.We were given double sharing rooms in first year followed by single rooms towards the end.
Exam Structure
It was a rather strenous process with exams cramping up our life. Indeed we used to have quite a few tests sometimes just after the college fests which used to be a rather annoying factor
Faculty
Top notch faculty who encourage innovative thinking. The faculties promoted projects with funding not being much of an issue and collaborations with universities like Caltech being a frequent thing.
