Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty good and the faculties are also well qualified and good. There are around 15-20 faculties per department. Major faculties have PhD and some are pursuing their PhDs. There is a one-semester exam and 2 class tests in a semester and they are conducted on time. The level of the exam is decent.
Placement Experience
The placement is decent. Companies arrive on a regular basis and hire students. Placements in branches like CSE, ECE and EE are good but the rest are decent. Different types of companies like marketing and product-based companies arrive in the college. The average package is around 6 lakhs and around 30-40 % of students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
College accepts various scholarships like the PMSS and NSP. It also has an EWS quota for economically weaker students in which their tuition fees are reduced according to their affordability. There are no major hikes in the fees.
Campus Life
The environment for extracurricular activities is pretty good. Each year there occurs the annual sports fest known as JOSH and the annual cultural fest known as GOONJ along with it there are various clubs in the college like drama club, coding clubs and various tech clubs.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is pretty good. The rooms are average. In each room, three students live together. The mess food is pretty good and overall according to the hostel fees, it is value for money. The meal quality is pretty good.
Admission
One is eligible for applying for this course when he or she has passed class 12 with a minimum of 60%. The admission process requires a student's JEE MAINS rank or the 12 board percentage but the preference is given to the JEE MAINS rank. First, the application form arrives on the UTU (Uttarakhand Technical University) website with a fee of 2000 rupees. One can fill out the required branch in which they want to take admission. The branch is allocated according to the rank in the JEE MAINS and then the 12 Percentage. There is a reservation system in the admission process as the Cutoff for various category students may vary.
