My course is computer science and engineering and the curriculum of this course is very good having all theoretical and practical lessons. You get an ample amount of time for yourself to improve and practice what is being taught in the class. Faculty are good but as always some of them are tough to understand. They are mostly Ph.D. degree holders and have a doctorate in their respective domains. The exams conducted here are moderate given if you attend the classes and are easy to pass.

The internships are provided during the 3rd year. Many companies come for candidates who have good coding knowledge and their resume is good having a variety of projects. Google, Amazon, Unacademy, PW, Infosys, IBM, etc have visited the campus.

The campus Placement is good in NIT Agartala and you can easily get placed given that you have studied in your 1st and 2nd years. The students become eligible from 3rd year for internships and 4th year for placements. Companies such as Google, Amazon, adobe, byjus,wipro, tcs, and LinkedIn have visited the campus. The average package is 15 lakhs and the highest package is 52 lakhs. Around 90% of students get placed and some opt for higher studies. I plan to get a job after my degree.

The fee required for a year is 1.5 lakhs and overall it would cost you around 7-8 lakhs for btech. You definitely get a scholarship if you are having any reservations like sc, st students or if your father's income is below 5 lakhs. Regarding the on-campus placements definitely, there are companies coming each year in the final year and also for internships as well. Big tech firms like Google, Amazon, Adobe, Byjus, etc have previously visited the campus for on-campus hiring.

Here two annual fest takes place and a tech fest as well. Tech Fest is conducted in February while cultural fest is in august or September. We have a big library wherein every type of books, magazines is available. The classroom is well maintained and has both a green and a whiteboard. we also have projectors installed in each classroom. The campus is full of greenery and it has a sports complex of its own which is the largest complex in all of nits in India. There are numerous clubs where you can showcase your talents like coding club, fine arts club, racing club etc.

The rooms provided are of enough size for the accommodation of 2 people. The mess food is mediocre but it gets good as you opt for mess in your second and third years. The registration process for the Hostel is simple and informed on the official website of the college.

For admission to the National Institute of Technology, Agartala you need to have 75% marks in your boards and later qualify for JEE mains. After qualifying for the entrance exam you will have to sit for jossa counselling. The documents required during the admission process are an aadhar card, pan card, a passport-sized photo, board mark sheet, income certificate, and TC & Jee mains provisional admission letter where your rank is displayed.
