Good campus Life , Good environment, Pretty mountains
Mussorie nearby also very great environment to study if someone wants too

Bad administration doesn't help much sort
Average faculty also forces to attend classes
Hefty fees and also hostel accomodation expensive also bit far from city

Course Curriculum Overview

I only chose this college as it was one of the top colleges in the state plus it was offering a good scholarship that year. Now if you want to join college is good administration is not good I would say teachers are average like all other colleges.

Placement Experience

Students are elegible for placements after 3rd year end i.e when starting the 7th semester. I have seniors who will be appearing for placements in August when my 5th and their 7th sem will be starting

Fees and Financial Aid

In my year fees was 12lac for 4 years now it's increased to 14Lac it's a big hike. I managed to get a scholarship which reduced my fees to 8.5 for 4 years which was pretty decent for me that's why I took admission. I still am in 3rd year not got job thru collg but placement is good in CS like 6Lpa average I beleive

Campus Life

Ok college life is good I must say there are clubs running not too much but yet there are many and it's okay.also libarary is good with all books you will ever need but you will stop even reading books after 1st year I guess PDFs are enough but never buy any book get from library. Campus Life is fun with I guess the best cafe in all of doon one of the best rooftop cafe and other amenities also good .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel and food is good. Hostel is indeed very nice but I believe food can be better just because we are paying such a hefty feesnof 120000 per year now increased to 130000 which is I guess so much for me.gym is very crowded and small 2 basketball and badminton courts

Admission

No entrance exam. I filled the application form on their official website and got my admission in like a week. I ony applied because in our year a good scholarship was there now it is not thete.Almost all known exam scores are valid. I got in with board marks. You can come if money isn't an issue for you

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th. The thing which should be kept in mind, is that the scholarship is on the tution fee only.
